A new fire broke out at an oil depot in Russia’s Voronezh region following a Ukrainian drone strike, Governor Alexander Gusev reported.

Gusev stated that air defense forces had intercepted several drones in the region’s Liskinsky district. According to the Telegram channel Astra, the oil depot in question belongs to Rosneft.

On the evening of January 15, Gusev announced that a fire had ignited at the depot after drones crashed into the site. Two days later, the fire was still burning. On January 18, Gusev reported that the affected area had shrunk, and the following day he noted that firefighters were “continuing efforts to extinguish the blaze.”
